According to IEC61335-1 standard, at 800 ℃, the thickness is greater than 0.8mm, and it has passed GWIT testing. All of them have passed various flame retardancy level tests. Due to the high phosphorus content of aluminum hypophosphate, It has advantages such as good thermal stability, low water solubility, and high flame retardancy. It was developed by Blue Chemical in the United States and used on PET, achieving high flame retardancy. When added to PET, the heat release rate and the heat generated during combustion sharply decrease, and the amount of carbon formed after combustion increases. The flame retardancy reaches UL94 standard V-0 level. Moreover, through experiments, compared to the PET flame retardants currently used in China, the flame retardancy has been improved by 60%, and the cost has been reduced by 35%.
