Brief: DIETHYLENE GLYCOL l, also known as diethylene glycol, forms an ester when reacted with an acid anhydride. It reacts with alkyl sulfates or halogenated hydrocarbons to form ethers. It is mainly used as a gas dehydrating agent and extractant, and also as a lubricant and finishing agent for textiles. It is derived from the action of ethylene oxide and Ethylene glycol. DIETHYLENE GLYCOL l has been widely used in various cosmetics as a solvent, heat preservation agent, and viscosity control agent. Uses:

DIETHYLENE GLYCOL l can be directly used as a solvent for various Uses, natural gas dehydration desiccant, aromatic hydrocarbon separation and extraction agent, textile lubricant, softener, finishing agent, and solvents such as nitrocellulose, resin, grease and printing ink, etc. It is also used as an antifreeze component in brake fluid and compressor lubricating oil, as well as in the preparation of cleaning agents, and as a dispersing solvent in ink and other daily chemicals.
